I'm sure you have plenty, but here's another testimonial for the Grooma AiRider pad. My son vaults with the Small Wonder Vaulting Team in Southern Delaware. All of our vaulting horses are draft or draft crosses and we use your AiRider pads on all of them to keep the vaulting surcingle from slipping. During team movements, there are up to 3 people on the horse in a variety of positions. It's extremely important that the pad stay in place!
Since the Grooma pads worked so well on our vaulting horses, we decided to try one on my son's super-sensitive Thoroughbred mare. He can use the same pad all day for a horse trial and she's never sore or overheated. We love the pad.
Thanks.

Hi! Two years ago I bought the AirRider pad (dressage). I am thrilled with it. I bought it in the US, but I live in Canada. Can you help me find it in Canada as I want to purchase another?
Thanks,

Dear Cindy:
Thank you so very much for coaxing me to try your AiRider pad.
As I told you during our phone conversation, I ride and show reining horses. The pad you sent me arrived at the same time I was trying to figure out what type saddle would be best for my gelding. I had been off of him for five weeks after he was attacked by my stallion in the horse trailer. Luckily his withers had not been harmed but his back had been ravaged and though it had healed nicely there were still hairless spots and I wanted to take no chances. I had also just purchased a new saddle that I couldn't wait to try.
Our first ride after five weeks we used a quality neoprene felt covered pad and used medication underneath. Though it proved harmless the thickness of the neoprene pad was not compatible with my well fitted custom saddle. It was too much and the saddle rolled and slid and I was very disappointed. It was then that I decided to try your Grooma AiRider pad. I was with my trainer in Ocala .FL after a successful training session and outstanding results from the new AiRider pad (no slippage, no dry spots, no rubbing or chaffing on the tender back) she inquired about the new pad and asked if I would leave it for her to try. The next day my trainer called and announced "You know the new pad, you better order yourself another one, and order a couple more for me too." I have since used it under show blankets and no one has any idea of the great protection I have under my saddle (except of course my horse). Again thanks Cindy, I love it.
Sincerely,

Love the AiRider pad! My horse and I have spent 12 years bouncing and adjusting, bloating and complaining - not anymore!!
I can ride for an hour, get off my horse, and still be able to easily tighten the girth another notch and the saddle doesn't budge - Keli and I thank you every time we ride.

Dear White Horse,
I use a lot of your products with superb results, but, the most recent thing, the AiRider pad is great! I live in Las Vegas, Nevada, have a roundish Icelandic horse which I ride with an Icelandic saddle which is like a dressage saddle. I ordered a white, dressage style pad. I got to use it today. It's wonderful! I love the way it doesn't slip and that it'll be easy to clean, especially, in our climate!!
Thanks,

"I've been using this pad on my Hanoverian mare (dressage) for a couple of months now and I love it. Yes, it's funny looking. I call it the weird pad. But I'm very impressed with its performance! I've always had trouble with saddles slipping forward on my horse, but this pad does a great job of keeping the saddle in place. And I like how the sweat just drains right out of it - seems as though it must be quite cool and comfortable for the horse. Easy to clean as well! (which my husband likes - he hates finding the washing machine full of horse hair!) For showing, I just put my square pad over it.
My trainer and another riding friend are interested in the pad, and you might be hearing from them. Thanks for the great products.

"I have used this pad on a client's horse with great success. Loin rubbing & hair breakage was eliminated. The horse moved freely & comfortably. This unique pad appears to have great potential."

"Since I started riding with this pad nine months ago. I've quit using my other saddle blankets. We've ridden with this pad on 20 different horses for over 4,000 hours with no swelling, sores, or irritations. It's the only pad I've used that will not sour. I'm happier with this pad than any I've used since I started training 22 years ago."
Winky Grover, Premier Trainer
"The pad serves an excellent barrier to sweat, bacteria and organic debris entering the saddle blanket while protecting the skin of the horse's back. Its interwoven construction allows air flow to reduce chaffing and allow cooling. It would certainly seem to improve hygiene and comfort for both the horse and its owner."
Dr. John Chambers
Owner, Appalachian Veterinary Hospital
"This pad has been used consistently in our riding program where we have 65 students - with great results. We like the non-slip qualities of the pad especially on our larger horses where we had problems with saddle slippage before. Hair will not build on this pad and it's completely washable. We also use it on our roping and reining horses. We expect a lot from our equipment especially on our performance horses. It certainly does the job it's intended to do."

Dear Grooma,
Finally, something that keeps my saddle from slipping! Even after spending thousands of dollars on different saddles, special pads, and new girths I still had to use a fore girth to keep my saddle from slipping. I hated the fore girth, and so did my mare! I'm glad I don't ever have to use it again. I love the AiRider pad because it cushions better than a cotton pad, it allows total freedom of movement, and it breathes! This pad is the answer to all my problems.
Cindy Biondi, Jacksonville, OR
Dear Grooma,
Thank you for making the AiRider pad. I have never used a pad that worked so well. My Dutch gelding is very difficult to fit, and I have never been able to keep any saddle in place before. I have been using the AiRider under a cotton show pad and I have had 100% success. I really like the soft cushion design, the way it breathes, and that it can be easily cleaned. Everyone should have one of these pads.
B. Wood
Dear Grooma,
I just tried the AiRider pad. I'm happy to tell you that I will never use another pad again. I have been trying different ways to keep my saddle from slipping for years, and the AiRider is the only pad that works. I showed it to my Veterinarian when it came because I wasn't sure if it would rub my horse's back. He assured me that it would be fine, and it has! We both liked the open air design and shock absorbing cushion it creates between the horse and saddle. I use the AiRider all by itself, even when I'm showing. I won't ever use another pad again.
E. Trimmer
Dear Grooma,
I have been searching for a solution to my saddle slipping problems for 12 years. I have tried everything available. The AiRider pad is the only solution I have found that really works. My mare has very delicate skin, and I was happy to see that the pad did not rub her over the withers like so many others have. I also like the elastic quality of the pad, it doesn't interfere with her movement, and helps her to relax her back. I use the pad every day, sometimes by itself, and sometimes with a cotton pad over it. I won't ever ride without it.

Dear White Horse Trading Co.,
I recently tried two of your products; the Sierra Cedar Horse Wipe and the Grooma Loopa mitt, both of them exceeded my expectations. I put the Sierra Cedar Horse wipe on one of my three horses to test it. The next day I noticed that the two horses without the wipe had flies sitting in the eye area, the horse I had used the Sierra Cedar Horse Wipe on had flies buzzing near her face, but none landed! This is much better than other pesticide wipes I have tried, where the flies land on the horse first and then eventually take off. It also seems to last longer - a week later it still seemed to be in effect.
I also wanted to let you know that the Grooma Loopa mitt was wonderful for use on my "twitchy" Arabian mare. She is very sensitive to grooming, but actually seemed to enjoy the loopa mitt. I enjoyed it too because it is much easier to use than regular grooming tools.
Sincerely,

A phone call from a happy customer - 8/25/00
Has a 21 year old 'pampered' Appaloosa (western pleasure horse) who for some years has had nerve damage in its tail rendering the tail useless as a weapon. The rather defenseless horse uses garlic and any and everything on the market has been tried to ward off flies.
Then she found Sierra and horse and owner are thrilled. She has gotten her local tack shop to order and has told all her friends. Nothing has worked so well in her situation. |
"My horse has EPM and has to be given medication everyday. The EasyWormer is a life saver and has eliminated fighting with my horse. My vet is very impressed with your product."

Hi-
I own a Grooma ManeMaster and my horses love it! Pulling their manes used to be SUCH an ordeal. They don't object to the ManeMaster at all, in fact they pretty much nap while I'm working on their manes!
Pam Parker
Cindy-
Thanks for the info on the ManeMaster. I used the ManeMaster on my horse's mane the other day and it turned out great! The mane looks like it does when I pull it and it was painless to him (and me!) I always felt so badly when I pulled his mane and he fussed so much so I'm glad I found the ManeMaster. Thanks a lot!
Anne
Dear White Horse-
I LOVE your Manemaster. I was shocked at how well it works. I looked at it for a couple of years and said, "I'm not going to spend that kind of money" I finally tried it. I couldn't believe how well it worked, or why I waited so long.
-Kim Dubin, CA
Dear Bob,
Thank you for sending me your ManeMaster, and the Animalintex poultice. I like your products very much, and so do my horses (especially the Grooma!) As the author of "Grooming to Win", I have to keep my own horses' manes and tails neat and properly trimmed, or people notice!
I tried the ManeMaster on several different horses, ranging from ponies to Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, Appaloosas and Warmbloods, all with different lengths and types of manes. It was especially helpful for shortening long, overgrown manes to a neat and tidy length in one session without extensive, painful pulling. With some practice, I was able to trim and tidy up a previously pulled mane which had begun to grow out; this resulted in a nicer appearance when unbraided, and uniform, evenly sized braids. It also worked well for trimming the dock hair for dressage horses, jumpers and sport horses. I particularly like the way it works without hurting the horse; horses that are usually uneasy and difficult about mane pulling, relax and become easier to work with when they discover that it doesn't hurt. (It also saved me the usual sore fingers!) I like this product and I am happy to recommend it to grooms and horse owners.
I do feel that it takes some experimentation and practice to learn to use the ManeMaster properly, and to trim the mane neatly and correctly for braiding or banding. Perhaps including step-by-step illustrations of the process would help new owners get the hang of it without making obvious mistakes.
Thanks again for letting me try out the ManeMaster. I will enjoy using it whenever I can get it away from my students and boarders -- they are all passing it around the barn with great enthusiasm!
Sincerely yours,
Susan E. Harris, Cortland, NY
Dear Bob,
I bought a ManeMaster and I LOVE it. My horse has accepted it with no problem and it is very easy to use! I promise I won't be sending it back, in fact I have showed it to so many people at the barn they think I'm a walking advertisement for you!!!! Thanks for such a great product!
Corrie Yeoman
Dear Matt,
Thank you so much for taking care of the ManeMaster I mailed to you so quickly returned, and satisfactory this is a very busy time of the year for us. I am very pleased with this rather revolutionary product, that does a great job painlessly. I will recommend, (and have) your company highly.
Sincerely,
Anne Wagner, York, PA
To whom it may concern,
I recently purchased your product the ManeMaster, I would like to tell you that this product is so simple to use and leaves the mane with a "pulled" look in very little time.
I was very surprised at how well it works without the horse even shaking his head even once during the job. What a pleasure to use!

Dear Mr. Bartlett,
Thanks so much for your response, so fast and generous! I failed to tell you that I do have two little groomas and wouln't do without them. They are great for bathing. I put a bit of shampoo in th emiddle and scrub away! They are especially nice on sensitive ponies, and are easy to clean and hold.
Thanks again for your service. You can bet I will pass on that you stand behind your products.

I love your Grooma tools and think they are the best in the industry. The Grooma Sof-Touch I bought about six months ago and was amazed at how much horse dander and scruf came off.

Just wanted to say I like your products. I have the Original Grooma and the Sof-Touch. Both work great. The Original is the BEST when it comes to shedding time. No more hair all over the barn. Instead it comes off the Groomas in easy to manage clumps. I also have the loopa but find it is a bit small in the wrist to get on easily.
Emily
Emily will be happy to know that we changed the size of the Loopa® Shampoo Mitt. Now it comes in a larger size.

Dear White Horse Trading Co.
I have been a "pony mom" from the time my daughter was bitten by the horse bug at 5 years of age. She is now 21, in college majoring in Equine Studies and plans to be a professional trainer and instructor. In all the time I spent serving as my daughter's groom, the Groomas products manufactured by your company are the best horse products I've ever come across.
The first one I tried was the Grooma Groomer. I actually bought it because I rubbed my husband's back with it while in the store. His reaction made me think it would be nice to give the horse a massage while removing his winter coat. Needles to say the horse loved it and so did I. The Grooma Groomer removed more hair in less time and left the horse's coat shinier than any curry comb, brush or mitt I ever used. It worked so well, I curried three other horses which took me less time than it used to take to do one.
The next purchase was the Grooma face groomer. (Sof-Touch) It worked as well as the Groomer. Your mitt, which removes sweat and dirt while wet or dry, the Grooma mane comb with the swiveling teeth, were then added to my grooming kit. Both have lived up to your usual superior standards. Now anytime I see a product with the Grooma name at the tack shop or in a catalog, I buy it, knowing that it will work better than any other product on the market. What's more, my daughter has introduced many of her fellow Equine Studies majors to the wonder of Grooma products.
As you know, this horse business is an expensive proposition. I cannot thank you enough for creating products that are reasonably priced, incredibly durable and that make horse grooming easy. The only way to improve your products would be if they came with a groom. You have certainly made my life easier and my daughter's horses more beautiful. I can't wait for you to introduce a new product.
Sincerely,
Lanier Cordell, Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Dear White Horse Trading Co.
I thought you would be interested to know that your products are highly recommended by Linda Tellington-Jones and TT.E.A.M.
I recently attended a clinic she held at the Horse Park of New Jersey where she used your products, especially the Grooma Brush and Sof-Touch for the face.
Linda explained how they are beneficial to sooth and relax a horse or any animal, stimulate blood flow and to teach the animal about its body...where it is in relationship to the trainer. The dog had a circulation problem and always shivered from the cold.

I like my Grooma Rake and it works exceptionally well when I start at the bottom of a mane or tail and take small sections at a time. When I first got it, I tried to just drag it through and the handle broke off right below the opening within a short period of time. I still use it 2 years later and it actually seems to be easier without the handle. I just curl my fingers into the opening and there is no wrist fatigue.

Dear Sir:
I generally do not write letters regarding products, but I just received the new EquiDae I ordered for my husband's Christmas gift & I wanted to tell you I think this is one of the nicest and most useful horse products I have seen. It is well organized and covers everything imaginable within a discipline.
I do have two suggestions: first, more pages for horses in training. We are probably considered by some to be crazy, but we have seven horses going at some level of training. Second, what about a breeding section? We own a stallion, and while stallion owners are probably a very small market, I do not believe mare owners would be. I know many people with mares in foal (we ourselves have 6 in foal to 4 different stallions). This section could include breeding dates, health records, est. due dates, delivery dates, weaning, gelding, keuring dates and scores, pedigrees, etc.
Once again, thanks for publishing such a great product.
Sincerely,
Brenda MacLellan
